BABY BOOMER!

Coming of age............ really?! Not! Growing up I found that if I agreed and smiled I got lots, if it was to my Dad, a wonderful man, both Mother and Father gave in to their little girl! lol, So fun, being the only child, I could do no wrong! And of course that goes forward til today. LOL, When I was younger, home with the folks, playing golf everyday, going thru the school thing, playing a lot! No chores, all I had to do was whine a little, try a little , then Mom would do it anyway! Oh such a bad child! lol (smart too!) I loved school! I loved to read, I loved to golf,(Dad was the golf professional at the Logan Gold and Country Club for about 18yrs or so). Diving golf carts back and forth to the course from our garage where they were kept until the club got big enough to build a shed and a Pro shop! What a great time, tennis, school, cars, bikes, play fun! You could walk by your self, you could take the bus to town meet friends go to movies for .25! with popcorn! You could go shopping at the stores and just say "Put it on Dads account!" Wow! Cars were the death of me, it meant more freedom! More exploring! Woops! lots of stuff! Still School was fun, boys were great and then there was College to get ready for. Something my folks did more than me, I just thought everyday was a fun day! Still do! It was a golden time, the spring of my life! I love it! The memories are great! The friends are still there and greater! And the ride goes on!

Wow the World is Still spinging!

It is always amazing that to share is to write and to think to ones self about what to say. Time goes so fast! I start with all these wonderful goals each and every morning and then..........woops another thing has taken the time! I decided to look this blog up, I started it last year and never came back, lol, not because I did not have time, but because I could not remember how to get here! Lol Yes I am a luny! And I love it!. Let me say that today was a good day I finally finished one goal I have been thinking about for months, no probably years! I cleaned and organized my kitchen cupboard! Not all, but one, cleaned dejunked, and organized! Yeah Me!!! I get a star! In doing so I cleaned and organized a horror space under the stairs! shelves already there, lived here for 23 yrs or more but this area has just been one of the copbwebs of my mind! Now it is a food storage place! Yes the bugs and webs and mice are gone, probable it shock that I would do this to them! lol but it is a start! I also found out that the quilt blocks I am working on do not just go together! Again, one step at a time! I do so love this, a new machine is on the wait list, this one is 47 years old! But it is still running!!! Mom would be so proud! I love quilting, well really piecing a quilt, and then picking it apart to fit! LOL! Wonderful time of my life! So tomorrow I get to spend time making some very awsome gals beautiful and then I get to sew, sew , sew!

There was a line in a movie once that stated that life is like a roller coaster, with swift rides, excitement, ups and downs, culminating in one exiting place.

I believe that one exciting place to be in our Lords hands!

I believe we are put here to be tested and to learn to over come hardships, make good decisions and to grow. To share our life with others with laughter and joy! Mainly the joy of our lives.

Live certainly lives up to its' image! One Ride, flying, taking us up and down, around and through all we see, feel, and imagine. It is our only hope to Enjoy and Endure, to the end!

Life gets better as you go one, not always, but eventually it does, and I for one love the idea!

I look at my cup always as half full, never empty,

I look at my life as an adventure with all the special effects of the cinema!

I believe in my Lord and know without a doubt that he is in charge of my life.

I can make the mistakes, fall, make life changing decisions and he will always pick me up, brush me off and give me the chance to start again.

I believe in serving in any capacity as possible, both physically and mentally, is serving our Lord and what he wants most in the world, is for us to love unconditionally. That is tough but comes with such great reward.

I have CML diagnosed in Sept 1994. And what a ride this has been! lol, What I have learned about my self and about others, it is amazing, and what I have personally experience from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

(I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints, yes we do believe in Christ, and no we are not a cult! I have to laugh at people who think that! What a hoot!)

I am using this blog to write about feelings, thoughts, cares, people and places, to vent, to cry, to share all things, to remember mostly things i do and say.

We are in charge or our lives here on this earth, we are responsible , if we are smart and allow our Heavenly Father to help, we will make it good, and far, and fun!

It is truly so much easier with His help!
